The first of two regular season meetings between the Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars volleyball teams will play out on the court in Bussey tonight, as the Sabers and Saints each try to claim bragging rights of their intra-county rivalry.

Melcher-Dallas certainly has more experience behind them, with an early-season match at PCM and a tournament in Albia providing the Saints with five contests – for which they have assembled a 2-3 overall record. Twin Cedars, meanwhile, has just one match under their metaphorical belts this season, having been bested last Thursday by Eddyville-Blakesburg.

The varsity match is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. tonight.
