Pleasantville hits the road in search of their first win tonight, as they take on B-G-M in Brooklyn in a Class A District 6 football match-up. Pleasantville head football coach Gabe Bakker says he expects tonight’s match-up to be intense and meaningful for both squads on the field.

“I think some of our strengths are some of their [B-G-M’s] strengths, so I think we can match-up well with that. I think it should be a good, physical game between two good teams that both need a win,” said Bakker. “They just came off a loss to Lynnville-Sully and we just came off the loss to Pekin, so it’s the middle of the district season and it’s going to be a fight; because we both need a win.

The Trojans showed progress in last week’s setback against Pekin, and face a Bears team that is 2-2 overall and 1-1 in district action. Coverage of tonight’s game will be streamed live at kniakrls.com with Cory Houser and Bob Miller live on the call in Brooklyn. Pregame coverage begins at 7:00 p.m. You can also hear the game Sunday afternoon in a delayed broadcast on AM 1320 KNIA.
