The athletic programs at Twin Cedars are helping support the American Heart Association with a special event centered around this upcoming week’s varsity football game.

Fans normally sporting Sabers blue are encouraged to take part in a “RED OUT”.  Special shirts to be worn for the event are on sale for $10 at the Twin Cedars High School office.  The school is also planning to build support and awareness of the event at Tuesday night’s junior high and high school volleyball games.

Athletic Director Justin Nolte tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the event is to help raise awareness of heart disease and to collect donations for the American Heart Association.  The Twin Cedars football team will be playing Seymour this Friday night.
