Despite a 30-7 loss at Bondurant-Farrar, the PCM Mustangs are headed to the playoffs as the third seed from Class 2A District 6. Quarterback Zach Uhlenhopp and running back Blake McWilliams each carried the ball 12 times, combining for 95 yards on the ground. Uhlenhopp also went 5 for 16 with 33 yards passing. The star of the game statistically was the Bluejays’ stud senior Colton Halder, who had 35 carries for 303 yards, a career high and a season high against the Mustangs defense.The second consecutive loss for PCM leaves the Mustangs at 3-3 in district play and 4-6 overall. PCM will play at Mid-Prairie Wednesday night as they try to make another deep run into the Class 2A playoffs.
