Facing a lot of adversity during their regular season, the PCM Mustangs are not done fighting; not now that they’re into postseason play where one slip up could end their season. PCM’s head coach, Greg Bonnett, told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that his team is excited about some new wrinkles they’re going to be bringing into the game for this evening. The Mid-Prairie Wellman Golden Hawks are 7 – 2 on the season, and a lot of their success can be attributed to their defense, which has only allowed 100 points the entire year. They also feature a running back, Eesaa Baylor, who is a strong, physical player, who pounds the ball up the middle. Bonnett said their first line of defense will be key tonight in slowing Baylor down. The Class 2A first round game will be streamed live at starting at 6:30 p.m. with Justin Webster doing the pregame show. Play-by-play coverage of the Mustangs – Golden Hawks matchup starts at 7:00 p.m.
