Knoxville caps off the 2012 football season with a road game against Oskaloosa. The Panthers are coming off an emotional win over Norwalk last week that put the Panthers back in the playoff picture. A win by Knoxville coupled with a Norwalk loss to Carlisle tonight would earn the Panthers their first playoff appearance since 1990. However, Coach Troy Rider has not made that the main focus this week at practice. He says trying to stop a wishbone style attack from Oskaloosa is key to his team’s success. Rider says they are taking a simple approach to defense tonight. Rider says offensively Knoxville needs to get the running game going as the Panthers only could muster 80 yards on the ground last week. He says if the running game is successful, the rest of the offense will have success. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA with Derek Cardwell and Mike Cunningham starting with the pre game at seven.
