With the regular season under their belt, the Knoxville Volleyball Squad no embarks on the postseason with a clean slate. After finishing the regular season at 14-26, the Panthers are looking to change their fortunes in the postseason and to do that, Knoxville must start with a 20-win Fairfield squad. The Trojans are 25-7 on the season winners of their last eight matches. Fairfield also won the Southeast Conference title with an 8-0 record. With what looks like a tall order for Knoxville tonight in the class 4A Regional, Coach Eric Fee says with the competition his team plays, they are not intimidated. The last time the two schools met, Knoxville took Fairfield to five sets in 2006 at the Class 3A Regional Final in Oskaloosa. The Panthers travel to Fairfield tonight with the first serve at seven.
