Two similar offenses. Two similar Defenses. Two Mustangs teams. It would only make sense that tonight’s game against PCM and Davis County would be evenly matched. The PCM Mustangs are looking for a higher seed heading into the postseason, perhaps even to host a round one game. PCM’s head coach, Greg Bonnett, said that focus in practice with their new offense has been keeping blocks and getting extra yards on the option. “With our new offense, it’s very important for not only the offensive line to hold blocks, but it’s also very important for the guys that are playing on the edges to stay on the blocks, too,” Coach Bonnett said. “Because that’s what going to get you the extra yardage more than anything is staying on those perimeter blocks when your quarterback pulls it or flips it.” PCM is 4 – 4 on the year with a 3 – 1 record in Class 2A District 6, while Davis County is coming into the game with a 5 – 2 record and an even 2 – 2 mark in the district. Justin Webster will be helping you keep straight which Mustangs team is which tonight with his play-by-play duties, as the game will be streamed live on KNIAKRLS.com. Pregame coverage starts at seven and kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
