Following a three set sweep of North Mahaska, the Pella Christian Eagles volleyball team are looking to take another big step towards the state tournament on Tuesday against Eddyville-Blakesburg. The game will be another rematch between the two schools who met up during a mini tournament earlier this month on the 4th; a game that was won by the Rockets 2 – 1. Becca Gritters has nine kills in that game against the Rockets and Jora Vander Hart had four aces. The winner of Tuesday evening’s Class 2A round two game will advance to play the winner of Pekin vs. Van Buren this Friday in the semifinals. Tuesday’s opening serve is at 7:00 p.m.
