With only a few games left before their Class 2A Regional tourney game at North Mahaska next Wednesday, Pella Christian head volleyball coach, Cindy Nikkel, would love her team to go on a little roll heading into tournament play. The Eagles are one game under .500 at the moment, with a 13 – 14 record. They are, however, 3 – 2 in Little Hawkeye Conference play, and could finish the season at 4 – 2 with a win tomorrow night at home against visiting Grinnell. The Tigers are 19 – 8 on the season and are looking for a little momentum themselves for their upcoming Class 4A Regional tournament match against Des Moines Hoover on October 22. Grinnell is 4 – 1 in LHC play and both teams will finish their seasons with a mini-tournament in Knoxville on Saturday.
