Central College is collecting donated music instruments to benefit an organization that provides band and orchestra opportunities in Mexico. The Yucatan Youth Orchestra Program provides both music education and performance opportunities to underprivileged kids across the Yucatan Peninsula. They are in particular need of oboes, bassoons, trombones, tubas and percussion instruments. To donate an instrument contact assistant professor of Music Mitch Lutch at 628-5238.
