The Dutch wrestlers won five of their first six matches, and upset a nationally ranked NCAA Division III opponent for the first time in almost eight years, with a 27 – 11 win over No. 19 St. Olaf College this past Wednesday. Central built an early 21 – 3 lead, carried by freshmen Aaron Anderson and Jon Heffner, who both came away with pins. It was a tiny measure of revenge against St. Olaf, as they had defeated Central last year by a score of 24 – 15. Next up for the No. 29 Dutch is the non-scored Knox Invitational in Galesburg, Illinois tomorrow.
