Any coach will tell you they prepare for the next game on the schedule and not look very much further ahead at teams coming up in the future. For Mark Core and his Pella High Little Dutch basketball team, he’s looking at the next practice, and not the next game, to see his team improve. After their practice on Monday, the public will have the chance to see a sneak peak for the Pella High boys’ basketball team during their intra-squad scrimmage on Tuesday, which Core and the team have dubbed “Parents Night,” but is open to anyone of the public that wants to come and see the team in action. “Parents Night” starts at 7:30 p.m., and the Little Dutch will play their first varsity game that Friday at home against A-D-M.
