Pella Christian bowling coach, Rod Blunck, is very excited with the turnout he had this past Wednesday during his first practice for the 2012-13 season. Blunck told KNIA/KRLS Sports that he had around 38 kids turnout on Wednesday at the Pella Excit-A-Bowl. The head coach also said that the first practice and the next few will be used to determine players’ strengths and to focus on what the kids should work on leading up to the first meet at Fairlane Bowl in Knoxville on Saturday, December 1 at noon. The current team of 38 athletes will be whittled down to six that get to play in each varsity meet.
