The Pella Opera House is inviting the public to “follow the yellow brick road” with them on Friday. The second in their series of seven films that encourage audience participation will be “The Wizard of Oz”. The first film in this series was “Mary Poppins”. Opera House Director Kevin McQuade says that because of the goodwill through volunteer efforts and the Festival of Trees, the Opera House will be offering the rest of the films in the series free of charge. Costumes of your favorite “Wizard of Oz” characters are encouraged during Friday’s screening.
