The all-district football teams have been announced and Knoxville was represented by eight players out of class three-A District eight. Ryan Douglas was a unanimous choice. Douglas led the Panthers in receiving with 443 yards and five touchdowns. Also on the list are leading tackler Aaron Crossett, who along with 132 tackles tallied seven sacks and 78 solo tackles in 2012. In addition to Crossett and Douglas, Tanner Dunkin, Joe Stearns, and Ross Shelford also made all-district. On honorable mention were Reed Long, Colton Spaur, who lead the team in rushing with 896 yards and ten touchdowns, and Quarterback Gerrit Davis who passed for 1,066 yards and ten scores. Knoxville finished the season with a 4-5 record.
