Count Knoxville Girls Basketball Coach Jim Utiermarkt as a supporter of the school’s move to the South Central Conference. Utiermarkt says with the declining enrollment at Knoxville, he sees the move as a competitive balance. He adds the Little Hawkeye Conference schools are for the most part continuing to grow. Knoxville would not start play in the South Central Conference until the 2014/2015 season. The S-C-C still must vote to accept Knoxville into the conference. That vote will come later in December.
