Two area high schools are working together to fight local hunger – by competing against each other. The Pleasantville and Melcher-Dallas boys and girls basketball teams play on the hardwood Tuesday night; their communities are participating in “The Hunger Game.” Both schools are trying to collect as many non-perishable food donations as possible in an attempt to out-do the other. Those donations will then be given to food shelves in Marion County. The Lil Big Red Radio will be in Melcher-Dallas Tuesday night for the games. Both games will be streamed live on kniakrls.com, with pregame beginning at 6pm.
