The Marion County Board of Supervisors agreed yesterday to begin the steps necessary to put the Bussey Memorial Building up for sale. The building was closed earlier this year after it was declared unsafe. The county then hired a contractor and engineer to shore up issues with the floor, allowing items like wheelchairs and food for the Senior Nutrition Program to be pulled out. The Supervisors are unsure of whether they will put a minimum bid on the building, which will remain unused.
