A record 179 runners turned out for last week’s 22nd Annual Dettman Turkey Trot. The race began and ended at the Knoxville Recreation Center. As a reminder, it was a prediction race. Runners predicted their times in the 5k at the beginning of the day – the person who was closest to his or her time won a turkey for their Thanksgiving Dinner.
