With just six of the current 13 girls on the Knoxville Basketball roster, many of the freshmen and sophomores will have to play important minutes during the season. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says the potential of being very good is there, and they will have to see the floor early on. Of the freshmen and sophomores that look to contribute right away are, Carrie Chambers, Ashley Hawkshead and Rikki Hall as ninth graders, while sophomores Meredith Cunningham and Taylor Carter look to also get several minutes of work this season.
