Interviews will take place at the end of the month for the Knoxville Fire Chief position. City Manager Harold Stewart tells KNIA/KRLS News that two of the five candidates that were previously announced have dropped out of the running. Those two were Mark Finocchio, of Denver and Robert Wirtz, of suburban Chicago. Stewart says that a reserve candidate, Robert Lindstrom, of Oklahoma City, has accepted an invitation to participate in the interviews.

The four finalists are:
– Nicholas Bonstell (Holland, MI)

– Michael Bracualt (Albuquerque, NM)

– Jeremy Henthorn (Sitka, AK)

– Robert Lindstrom (Oklahoma City, OK)

KNIA/KRLS will continue to keep you updated as the search for the Knoxville Fire Chief evolves.
