If there’s one thing that has shone the brightest in the last three games for the Central men’s basketball team, it would be their inability so far to bury teams early in the game after getting a double digit lead. Facing a Bethany Lutheran team that didn’t have one of the best lineups in Division III, the Dutch men had a big lead towards the end of the first half, but allowed the Vikings to claw their way back in with open shots and several offensive chances on each possession. Head coach, Craig Douma, said that it all comes down to getting it done on defense. The 6 – 3 Dutch men are next on the road to Minnesota to face Martin Luther, which will be their final game on the 2012 part of their schedule.
