The needs of the community are greater than ever, according to Helping Hands Food Pantry Director Chuck Galeazzi. He tells KNIA/KRLS News that they’re currently serving 350 families a week. Galeazzi says that they still need more help gathering food for Christmas baskets, especially around 80 turkeys. If you are able to help, Galeazzi says you can contact him at 842-6933. The KNIA/KRLS Food Drive continues with stops Friday afternoon at Raceway Tire and Exhaust in Knoxville and at the Pella HyVee.
