Knoxville gets back to the Little Hawkeye Conference tonight against Oskaloosa. The Panther boys while oh-and-five found plenty of positives in their 90-59 loss to Centerville on Monday. Coach Jeff Larson said the effort was better for longer periods of time, and the players ran the offense better. Larson adds along with the opportunity to play Oskaloosa, he wants his guys to continue to improve. Meanwhile, on the girl’s side, the Panthers are looking to get a signature win and even their record at 3-3 and remain unbeaten in conference play. To do that, Knoxville needs to beat and Oskaloosa team that has lost just once all season. Coach Jim Utiermarkt knows the Indians are one of the better teams in the conference. He adds his girls have to play defense like they did in their previous two wins over Grinnell and Monday night over Centerville. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA with Derek Cardwell and Randy Wilson starting at six.
