The PCM Mustangs continue their early run through the Heart of Iowa Conference tonight as they head north to Jasper County to face Colfax-Mingo in a basketball doubleheader matchup. The PCM girls have been trying to string together some wins early in the season, and so far, have yet to record a two game winning streak. Tonight may break that slide, as the Mustangs’ girls are facing a 1 – 5 Tigerhawks squad who have had trouble putting any offense together this season, shooting a chilly 30 percent from the field, compared to a more successful 48 percent success for PCM. The Mustangs’ boys are 6 – 0 this year and tonight are facing a Tigerhawks’ boys’ team that has had its biggest struggles on defense in a 1 – 4 beginning to their 2012-13 season. Tonight’s Heart of Iowa Conference matchup between the two schools will be streamed live at, as Justin Webster will call the play-by-play starting at 6:00 p.m. with the Iowa State Savings Bank pregame show, and the tipoff of the girls’ game happens at 6:15.
