Nick Bonstell says that he’s very excited to become Knoxville’s new fire chief. He tells KNIA/KRLS News that he and his wife have always wanted to live and work in a community that they serve as well. He says they enjoyed growing up in a similar sized community in Michigan called Zeeland. They both look forward to being part of a community like that again. City Manager Harold Stewart says that some logistics remain, but they hope that Bonstell will be here by at least early February, if not sooner.
