It was a rough night at Murray for both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams for Melcher-Dallas Tuesday, and tonight, they’ll look to pick themselves up with games against Seymour. The Saints’ girls have only scored 45 points total in their last two games since defeating Pleasantville for their first win of the season. In fact, in each of their three losses, they haven’t topped the 30-point plateau. The story so far has been turnovers; the Saints have given the ball away 89 times in their four contests this season. Seymour is coming into the contest at 1 – 2, and just recently, they notched their first “W” of the season on Tuesday. The Melcher-Dallas boys did not have a good evening in Murray, losing 78 – 32, and had two of their players leave the game due to an injury. The Saints will hope to have them back for the game tonight against the Warriors. Seymour is 0 – 2 on the season, and haven’t had much in the way of offense so far. The girls will tipoff the doubleheader tonight at 6:15 p.m.
