The City of Pleasantville is hosting a full day of family activities today to help celebrate the holidays. The Winter Wonderland celebration will feature a toy drive, a soup dinner to benefit scholarships for area students, visits from Santa, and more. Kim Friday, one of the organizers, says that events such as these bring residents in rural communities together to establish or reestablish relationships. The day’s activities start at 11am at the Masonic Lodge. The Little Big Red Radio will be there from 1-3pm to help celebrate and play Christmas music.
