The Pella Community Foundation has announced their grant recipients of 2013. 34 organizations were given grants totaling $50,000 this year. $6,000 was given to teachers in the form of mini-grants, the largest grant outside of that as for $5,000 to the Community Betterment Organization for improvements to Pella Cinemas. $3,000 was given to the Pella Little League for safety and technology improvements, and $3,000 was given to Pella’s Community Services Department for stage curtains in the Joan Kuyper Farver Auditorium.
