The Pleasantville Trojans swept the Eagles of East Union on Friday night to finish a run of three games in five days. The night started off with the Trojans’ girls getting Head Coach Aaron Fichter his first career victory by the score of 60-43. Pleasantville started off hot in the first quarter by putting up 22 points while missing only one shot. Trisha Kunze led the Trojans with a career high 23 points on the night. Pleasantville improves to 1-14 on the year. On the boys’ side, the Trojans got more than they asked for against 2-11 East Union as they squeaked by the Eagles 56-51. Pleasantville headed to the locker room up 31-25, but fell behind midway through the third quarter after the Eagles started the second half on a 9-0 run. Trevor Zoss led the Trojans with 20 points on the evening as the boys improved to 9-3 on the year. Both the girls’ and boys’ teams will be in action on Monday as they Travel to Clarke for a double header.
