Five Wrestlers Finish One-Through-Five for Pella

Head wrestling coach at Pella, Joe Burch only took five wrestlers to the Little Hawkeye Conference meet in Grinnell on Saturday, and all five placed in the top five. At 152 pounds, Dillon DeJong took home a first place finish, Jake Speltz took home second, while Levi Azinger placed third. Chase Petty led in both of his matches, but was pinned with a headlock and finished fourth overall. David Wiley added a fifth place showing for the Little Dutch Wrestlers, who will have a few days off ahead for a home triangular dual meet against Oskaloosa and Dallas Center-Grimes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The home meet is also senior night for the twelfth-grade grapplers at Pella.
