The Marion County Sportsman’s Club has released dates for their 2013 Hunter Safety Education Courses. Four different schedules have been established on different Thursdays and Saturdays – March 21st and 23rd, June 13th and 15th, August 15th and 17th, and September 12th and 14th. Thursday classes are from 6:00pm-9:30pm and Saturday classes are from 8am-3:30pm. You must attend both sessions to become certified. Anyone born in 1972 or later must take a hunter education course before purchasing an Iowa hunting license. For more information, call 842-6701 or 891-1246.
