KNIA/KRLS’s Severe Weather Action Team went live yesterday morning as icy conditions caused issues across Marion County. We kept our listeners up to date on the current road conditions, power outages, and church cancellations from 7:30-10am. One power line went down in the 300 block of East Robinson in Knoxville. Knoxville Police and Fire Departments responded, and 18 customers were without power for about two hours. State and county road crews were treating the roads yesterday and are out this morning, maintaining them. We’re also under a dense fog advisory this morning, so drivers are asked to be very cautious.
