Knoxville Coaches vs. Cancer Should Be Another Big Event

This year’s Knoxville Coaches vs. Cancer day promises to be one of the biggest and best. Activities get underway Saturday at Knoxville High School at 10:30 with the silent auction and Alumni Basketball games. The girls squad is getting ready for the big day. Junior Player Jamie Hunt says everyone should come out to get behind a great cause. Steve Coon will be serving a meal starting at 3:30. The night is capped off with the varsity girls and boys playing Chariton starting at 6:15. In between games, there will be a ceremony honoring Cancer survivors.

10:30 6 on 6 Alumni Women’s Basketball
11:15 5 on 5 Alumni Women’s Basketball
12:00-3:00 Men’s Alumni Basketball
3:30-8:30 Meal served by Steve Coon
6:15 Girls Varsity game vs. Chariton (6:00pm AM 1320 KNIA)
Halftime: shooting contests (raffle tickets drawn)
7:30 (approx.) Cancer Survivor Ceremony
8:00pm (approx.) Boys Varsity game vs. Chariton
Halftime: :46 challenge, Knoxville Dance Team, shooting contests, Raffle Tickets for Quilt and Sprint Car Rides drawn
