At around 4:00 this morning, a fire was reported at Thomas Trucking in Pella. Thomas Trucking is located at 1420 Fifield Road, on the west side of town. Pella Fire Chief Doug Van Gorkum says that when they arrived on scene, a building next to a large sheet metal storage structure was completely engulfed in flames. The Pella Fire Department had knocked down most of the flames by 5am, but continued to blast the area with water from their ladder truck while battling wind chills near zero.  Fire Crews are still on scene of the fire, KNIA/KRLS News will bring you more information as soon as it becomes official.
