Marion County Bank held a shootout Tuesday night during halftime at Pella’s Coaches vs. Cancer event. Pat Moriarty at Marion County Bank says they started these fundraisers a number of years ago, and overall they have raised more the $30,000 for the schools student activity funds. This year they held the shootout during both Pella vs. Pella Christian Basketball games, with students shooting for bucks in one, and teachers in the other. This year the two events raised over $8,000. Another $1,000 dollars was raised for breast cancer awareness and screenings at Pella Regional Health Center.
