The Knoxville Panthers host the Newton Cardinals in high school basketball tonight. Both Panther squads are looking for a little energy after lackluster loses on Tuesday to Oskaloosa. For the girls, Coach Jim Utiermarkt has been trying different combinations this season to see which five will click. Knoxville is 6-8 on the season while Newton is 4-10. On the boys side, the Panthers are still in search for their first win of the season. Knoxville will be playing a Newton squad that came within a missed last second shot of upsetting Pella earlier in the season.
