A lineman with Pella Cooperative Electric recently returned from a service trip to Haiti. Randy Reineke went to Haiti last month for a two week project that set poles and installed electricity in the Haitian town of Caracol. He worked with two other linemen from Minnesota, a foreman from El Salvador, and locals during the project. He says the locals wanted electricity for lights, refrigeration, and a means to charge their cell phones. Randy returned on December 15th.
