The Marion County Board of Supervisors is discussing getting involved with a DNR program as they look for cost-effective ways to possibly deconstruct the Bussey Memorial Building. The Iowa Waste Exchange rebate money on things such as asbestos removal, environmental site checks, and deconstruction. The board is now looking at options moving forward and will receive cost estimates for both deconstruction and demolition before deciding to pursue participation in the program.
