Six was a serious number for PCM, and tonight they’re hoping seven is a lucky number as the Mustangs travel to C-M-B looking to extend their lengthy winning streaks. PCM swept the Raiders in their first meet-up this season in December. C-M-B’s girls have six wins on the year and are trying to find some momentum with only a few games left in the regular season. The Mustangs faced a tough post player against Colfax-Mingo on Tuesday, and will be facing another frustrating six foot player tonight in Abbie Haupert, according to head coach, Bret Grier. The Mustangs’ boys were able to hold the Raiders to just eight first half points back in December, while nine different PCM athletes contributed to the scoreboard. Coach Fred Lorenson told KNIA/KRLS Sports that he’s looking for another similar defensive effort from his guys tonight. Tonight’s doubleheader tips of at 6:00 p.m.
