The Knoxville Public Library is beginning renovations of the upstairs apartment in the recently purchased Dixie Gebhardt house. Volunteer workers will start this morning at around 9am. Work that needs to be completed includes stripping wallpaper, redoing and tiling the floor, and painting, among other things. The work will continue over the next few weeks and volunteer labor is appreciated. Anyone who would like to help can contact Dave Garcia at 641-820-0762.
