Despite the two contrasting records, neither the Knoxville boys nor the Pella High Little Dutch basketball teams will take the other team lightly in tonight’s nightcap of the inter-county rivalry. Coach Mark Core said that putting aside Knoxville’s futility this season, they are still a dangerous team. Even with no wins on the season, the Panthers played Pella close in their first meet-up early last month, falling by a final score of 67 – 62. Ryan Douglass and Isaac Naaktgeboren each had big games for their respective teams, with each athlete dumping in 24 points. Tonight’s boys’ game will tip-off following the Knoxville Hall of Fame Induction ceremony that takes place after the girls’ game.
