As the upcoming winter storm approaches, grain buyers from all over Iowa are looking to the skies with the hope of keeping a steady crop of corn and soybeans coming in for processing. Ray Jenkins with Cargill Eddyville tells KNIA/KRLS News that if farmers are considering selling grain this week, many processors in the area are encouraging deliveries prior to the arrival of the storm Thursday.

Nick Arkema at Two Rivers Cooperative says that they won’t be impacted too much by the storm, as they expect to be taking orders and making deliveries around its arrival. The one area he says they have seen an increase in is orders of LP gas. Customers appear to be buy that as part of their preparation for the winter storm’s arrival.
