The Knoxville boys’ and girls’ bowling teams are headed to State. This will be the girls’ first appearance after they toppled second place Newton by more than 300 pins. Jordan Beaver led the girls with a 390 series. For the boys, it’s their second consecutive appearance. They beat second place Newton by 260 pins. Jake Steele led the Panthers with a 479 series. The State Meet is next Thursday at Plaza Lanes in Des Moines.
