Having each won a game against the other during the regular season, a pair of Little Hawkeye Conference foes will face off for their postseason lives tonight when the Pella High girls’ basketball team travels to Norwalk for the first round of the Class 4A regional tournament. The Lady Dutch couldn’t hang into a ten-point lead in the second half last Tuesday in their last meet-up, and Norwalk came out with a 47 – 43 victory. Coach Jerod Garland told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the rubber match between the two schools is going to be a scrappy, defensive game, and fans and spectators alike should prepare themselves for a low-scoring affair. The winner of tonight’s game will advance to play a waiting Winterset team on Saturday. You can catch all of the action on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live on kniakrls.com with Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema on the coverage. Pregame is at 6:45 p.m. and opening tip is scheduled for 7:00.
