The PCM boys’ basketball squad gets their postseason underway tonight, looking to put a cap on a one-loss season by hanging another state championship banner in their gym. In their last “home court advantage” of the season, they will need to get by Albia to advance to the district finals. The Blue Demons are 13 – 9 entering play, and are led by Tanner Kellogg, who is averaging a double-double on the season; scoring just over 20 points and grabbing around 14 rebounds per game. Matt Baker is also a scoring threat for Albia, as he dumps in roughly 19 points per contest. An eleven-game winning streak and an outright Heart of Iowa Conference championship currently propels the Mustangs into tonight’s game, which can be streamed live on, as Justin Webster will call all of the semifinal action. Pregame is at 6:45 p.m. and tip-off is at 7:00. There will also be a delayed broadcast on 92.1 KRLS immediately following Pella Christian’s playoff game.
