The Pella City Council reviewed the proposed city budget at their meeting on Tuesday night. The city has a projected total revenue of $39 million, primarily through utilities, and projected $40 million in expenses, with the largest portion being operating expenses. The city’s cash reserves will be drawn down to fill the gap between expenses and revenues. Overall Pella residents can expect to pay the city around $93 more dollars than the previous year.
