At seven-game winning streaks apiece, the Pella Christian basketball teams have a daunting task ahead of them tonight against a visiting Norwalk. The Warriors were able to sweep the Eagles out of their gym on January 8, and they’ve used their slow-‘em-down offense to propel them to formidable records at this point in the year. Norwalk’s girls were able to beat Pella Christian 43 – 33 thanks to a 14 – 4 first quarter and a tremendous job rebounding on the offensive glass. The Eagles’ boys’ biggest struggle was first half offense, as they could only muster a seven on the scoreboard after one half of play. After beating Pella Christian, the Warriors have gone 3 – 5 in their last eight games, including a 31 – 29 loss to Boone. Tonight’s doubleheader will be streamed live at with Jamie Brockman on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 6:00 p.m. There will also be a delayed broadcast immediately following the Pella-Knoxville coverage on 92.1 KRLS.
