Pella Council Approves Transmission Line Work

Some electrical work recently wrapped up in Pella. The city council signed off on transmission line work in connection to the Southeast Switching station. City Administrator Mike Nardini says that the switching station is part of the transmission to Missouri River Energy Services. The original project cost was around $8 million dollars, but the final cost came in at about half of that because transmission lines couldn’t be connected to the Vermeer Substation.
